Escape to Oceana and discover 7 ways to one night out. Arrive early, leave late, explore the themed space and experience 7 distinct venues under one roof.

Eat - food from around the world to share and enjoy in First Port.
Drink - take a drink with like minded people, then dance, eat or just lounge…
Disco – hit the dancefloor for the original 70’s – 80’s discotheque experience on Europes largest illuminated dancefloor.
Clubbin' – Icehouse – featuring a selection of the finest exponents of todays music.

What we think:
A great night out, it's a huge place - probably the biggest in Birmingham and the range of rooms keeps things fresh. The 70's room is our favourite with it's light-up dancefloor! Student nights on Monday and Wednesday are good value, plus you can always head on to Mr. Egg's over the road afterwards!

I recieved some free entry que jumper tickets in the post so it was cheap entry! Most of the staff seemed very unhappy. Annoying that you can not take your drink on the dancefloor, you cant just leave your drink on the side in a club! Didnt really bother with any of the bars, loved the disco room so cheesy, my gay friend loved it! icehouse also good, bit cold though. Recomend it as long as you go with the right sort of people, not much of an atmosphere overwise.

Well it is a new corporate club, not as nice as Leeds Oceana, needs cheaper drinks promotions, very expensive. Nice Cecor & sound system. Just having opening teething problems and needs to identify its crowd base if you ask me.

No WOW factor like the old Pulse/Powerhouse. Needs better DJ's. If i was to choose i'd go Barracuda across the road, better music & cheaper drinks..

I used to travel to oceana in Nottingham and was over the moon when this one opened in Birmingham. Great atmosphere, and plenty of choice in bars.

The New York Disco is done out fantastically, my only complaint is that they advertise the music as 70's and 80's disco and actually there's very little of either, on the whole most of the music is cheese and they play more 90's track than they do 70' and 80's. In short, great place but the music lets it down.

Went to Oceana for the first time last weekend, Had a fantastic time, having only moved to Birmingham a few months ago, I didn't know where were 'the places to go' and where to avoild like the plague' and think from what I saw i would put Oceana down on the 'to go' list! Fantastic attmosphere, great set up! something for everyone!

As I get to move around a lot with my job, I've had the pleasure of going to two other Oceanas before, and this one is no different to the rest! - and as for the people who have put comments about the prices, let me just explain something to you, I have been out on Broad street (didn't rate it much) and the prices in the 1/2 desent bars / clubs there are the same as Oceana, so get over yourselves. also one last comment, if you can't get in to clubs like that then its for a reason, and that's not normally down to how your dressed, thats just an excuse cause they can't tell you your attitued stinks and your a chav! So all the people that like having a good time, and can get in then I'll be seeing you there soon! x
